Our Chapter is dedicated to flying Mr. Piper’s airplanes in the Carolinas. Shortwings are generally accepted to be the Vagabonds, Clippers, Pacers, and Colts, but we welcome all flying machines, their pilots and passengers. We fly and meet monthly for lunch and a brief meeting but mostly to visit with new and old friends. Our agenda is flying for fun and the preservation of the classic Pipers.
